You hear a familiar sound nearby. You were so caught up in dramatic revelations and existential crises that you didn't really take a lot of time to look around the rest of the OBSERVATION room. Now that you do, you take note of the huge ONE-WAY MIRROR looking into one of the laboratories. Hakeem doesn't find it all that interesting, but Des does. She recognizes it as her own original laboratory, untouched since she escaped it by drilling through the floor with the power of EVERYONE'S FAVORITE DANCE CRAZE.
Man, that feels like so long ago. You wonder how you would have reacted back then if you'd known you were being watched through your laboratory's FOURTH WALL. Except would the OBSERVATION ROOM have even existed back then, or did it only come into being later on? Would it have suddenly started existing if you'd tried to smash the mirror at some point? This "evolving dream simulation" shit is confusing. Oh well, you suppose the finer points of your observation don't really matter when everything you do is being recorded and broadcast on a computer somewhere. This whole situation is so creepy, even if you did technically agree to it.
